New Paris: The Arena of Destruction Returns April 18th

NEW PARIS, IN — The Arena of Destruction, as Top Row Racing Media calls it, returns to the New Paris Speedway on April 18th for their annual season opener complete with all of the chaos.

The social media channels for the various Night of Destruction teams are waking up from their winter hibernation, and drivers have also started to show their car designs for the upcoming event.

For fans unfamiliar with the New Paris Night of Destruction, a buffet serving size of events is offered throughout the night. The parade lap kicks off where most cars take the track in a salute to the fans shortly before 5 P.M. Then, at 5 P.M., the first hour of the event is reserved for the Burnout Contest, Spectator Drags, and Beat the Clock. These are only an appetizer for what fans can expect the rest of the night.

The arrival of the New Paris Fire Department means things are about to get slippery, and the Arena of Chaos is fully unlocked with every passing lap of water. The Ladies Enduro kicks things off for the night. While most tracks in the area do not allow their female competitors to make contact, at New Paris, it’s welcomed. From there, fan favorites like the Figure 8 3-on3 drags, PAC-MAN, the Car and Truck Enduro, and Trailer Races highlight a range of events. With at least one Night of Destruction per month from April to October, New Paris switches events around so that fans are not seeing the same song and dance each time, but what is guaranteed is total chaos and destruction.

New fans who have thought about giving it a chance should come out and see what it’s all about. The New Paris drivers are all about putting on a show, and they’ll deliver the hits while the speedway sells you a seat you’ll only need the edge of to enjoy a night out at the races.
