Kalamazoo: Alamo Township Night, Dare To Be Different Rescheduled For This Friday Night

KALAMAZOO, MI — Kalamazoo Speedway will try their official Fast Friday’s at the Zoo Weekly Racing Season Opener again this Friday night after a line of storms cancelled last week’s event.

Residents of Alamo Township, with photo ID, will be able to enter for free. On opening night which featured the Intimidator 100, thousands of fans packed the stands for a night which saw more than 90 cars across three classes.

The Annual Dare to Be Different Race, focused on Autism Awareness, is also on tap for this Friday where the Front Wheel Drives will have additional money on the line.

General Admission is $15 for adults, Youth 6-12 are $5, Kids 5 and under are Free, and Pit Passes are $35 for adults and $15 for Youth.

Racing this Friday night will be the AFCO Limited Late Models, Munson Construction Late Models, Techworks Trailer Sales Street Stocks, and the Front Wheel Drives sponsored by O’Reilly Auto Parts (A-Feature), Spartan Insulation & Coating (B-Feature), and Joe Schmoe’s Bar & Grill (C-Feature). Racing is set for 7:30 P.M.
