Before you know it, the 2026 season will be here, and short tracks across the area offer entertainment for all kinds of race fans. One of the non-traditional forms of racing comes from the Night of Destruction scene, yet not surprising, there are many weekly racers who compete in Night of Destructions to let off some steam and have fun just as much as Night of Destructions can help create weekly racers. DJ McCotter first started in Night of Destructions, fell in love with racing and the short track community, and began his own weekly racing career in the Front Wheel Drives. Likewise, Spencer Wortinger, one of the top racers around, dips his toes into the Night of Destruction with several wins to go with his journey.

We’ve compiled Night of Destruction dates from around the region for those who like a little chaos in their short track racing season. As always, check the respective speedway pages for rules and regulations as many are gut and go but still require key safety components for competition.

  • Please note that Russell’s M-40 Speedway “Day of Wreckoning” events are Sunday shows.
