Andy Randt

Springfield and the world of the Simpsons comes to Kalamazoo Speedway during the short track season with Kamp Krusty in town as Andy Randt takes on the challenge of the fastest 3/8ths mile in the world!
Randt's car is recognizable immediately when he takes the track, and his team of followers and helpers can easily be spotted in the pits often with their Kamp Krusty shirts on.
Randt is newer to racing at Kalamazoo. He competed in his first season last year a few times as he raced in someone else's car. As he got his tires wet, Randt made growth and improvements each appearance which set the stage for his 2025 season.
In 2025, Randt raced in his own car that he owned and competed in a full season at Kalamazoo. Although there were some challenges in the later part of the season with equipment, that didn't stop Randt and his team from making the most out of their night with each trip. There's a lot of grit and determination, and simply put, him and his team and followers love racing.
Only one time in 2025 did Randt finish outside of the Top 10, and his best finish of the year came on May 9th when he placed third. In a class with a total of 112 competitors that recorded points throughout the season, Randt finished 29th right behind Front Wheel Drive C-Champion Cayden VerBurg. For a first full season in his own car, that's not a bad starting point to continue to build on into the future.
Joined by teammate Jacob Montgomery-Froelich, the duo will become a trio as Randt's daughter, Andrea, will sport the 09 and look to make her own mark in short track racing with her debut. Longtime fan, passion for the sport, like father like daughter, Kamp Krusty will be well represented. You might throw up a wave or two as Krusty the Clown and his Simpsons crew take a ride around the short tracks of Southwest Michigan.
