Braydyn Loop

There are certainly highs and lows in racing, and sometimes those things fall into the control of a competitor and other times it's well out of their control. That's part of the art of racing is that so much can go right and wrong all at the same time.
For Braydyn Loop, he experienced the high of highs early in the 2025 season at Owosso only for things to change quickly. But, that didn't stop Loop from giving it his all each race as he chased his first win as he entered his third season of competition.
For fans and other observers, Loop showed so much potential each time he took the track. In Kalamazoo's new ABC format, similar to area tracks, drivers can swap between the various levels as qualifying times play a huge role in where a driver's night takes them come feature time. Loop was one of those drivers who often fell into the B group at Kalamazoo, Owosso, Galesburg, and Springport, but he also found himself with the fastest cars on some nights, too. With such a range in competition, Loop is often one of the youngest drivers on the track, so the exposure to so many drivers and racing styles benefited Loop in his growth and race knowledge.
That first win might feel like a tall mountain to climb, and there were many times throughout the 2025 season that it felt like Loop would close the deal. Things happen, but the completed lap can't be undone, so the next lap needs to be the most important lap. Finally, after so many close calls, Loop earned his first victory on August 1st at the Kalamazoo Speedway. Not to be outdone, Loop carried that momentum into Galesburg the next time and claimed his second feature win of his career.
The emotions from an earlier season triumph turned to defeat built up, and that made the victory even sweeter once it came. There aren't too many drivers from 2025 in the area who can say they swept a weekend of events, but Loop can certainly add his name to the conversation. As the team prepares for the 2026 season, one thing is certain--Loop will be a driver to watch as the season unfolds.
