It's a team effort at the Hartford Speedway where owners Tim and Leah Dibble have poured themselves into the track and the local community, and it is on the fan side where Leah makes the fans central to anything they experience on race day.
As Tim and his team handle track prep throughout the week, Leah is highly active on social media where she has built quite the following of dedicated fans who help promote the Hartford Speedway. Her live videos help introduce Hartford to new fans and helps promote what to expect when they arrive to the Widest 3/8ths Mile Dirt Track in Michigan. From there, when fans enter the gates, they're greeted by friendly faces ready to kick off their fan experience. Leah has assembled a team of energized staff from concessions to ticketing and everything between from 50/50 to golf cart drivers who help to make the night a success for anyone in attendance.
While costs continue to skyrocket for everyone, Leah actively looks to keep costs down with meal deals for adults and kids, and her kid zone booth has plenty of options for kids to light up the night with glow sticks and other fun toys. As Tim and his crew prepare the track to deliver the racing entertainment, Leah and her team keeps fan engaged throughout any downtime before, during, and after the races.
Leah often refers to Hartford as the Disney of Race Tracks, and her staff is front and center with fans which can make a huge impact on whether someone comes back to the race track or not. As a time tracks are facing several challenges to keep the gates open, fans in the stands, and cars in the pit, every little detail matters.
Beyond the race track, Leah is also highly engaged in community service and events. From League of Miracles to fundraising events, Leah is out front doing what she can to help others. That's who she is at her core--she invests herself in others to watch and see them grow, and that's a special quality that makes her the wonderful and caring person she is.
