𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩

Rowdy Ronnie Holaway continues the strong tradition of Dad & Lads Racing---something he took on after the passing of his grandfather, Jack "Red" Martsolf. Better known as "Superman" and "Grandpa" to many, Martsolf's impact on the local racing scene in Northwest Indiana left a legacy with big shoes to fill.

Holaway has done that, and more. Many fans know him as Rowdy, and his schemes have always stood out to fans with their sharp, creative, and clean look. As a Front Wheel Drive racer, Holaway competed for the front many times, often in deep fields where anyone could win on any given night. Holaway then had the opportunity to welcome, and race against, his nephew Evan Verduin first in the Front Wheel Drives in 2022 then in the Street Stocks a season later. Although his family is well-known in the racing circles across the area, his Dad & Lads crew expanded his racing family to include several top competitors who represented the team well.

This past season, Holaway added another first as he and his fiancee, Cheyanne Milbourn, made the trip to Hartford Speedway to race on dirt. The widest 3/8ths dirt track in Michigan is no easy task for any first timer, but Holaway took on the challenge in his 38 Crown Vic and showed thousands why he's one of the top racers around the region. Hartford fans may not know the asphalt warrior as well, but they learned quickly who Rowdy Ronnie is on the track similar to fans at M-40. In the Crown Vics there, Holaway won on August 2nd, took second twice, third once, and fifth twice with only one DNF. His consistency placed him sixth in the final point standings.

Although his grandfather has been gone for several years now, Holaway's passion on the track to carry on the tradition his grandfather started so many decades ago proves more than ever that, "𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙤 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙪𝙨, 𝙬𝙚 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙪𝙩 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙚."
