Blue 53 might be found in a football playbook somewhere, but in an arena where left turns are mastered and rubber meets the ground, the blue 53 means something a little different.
Bobby Stremme has had a successful racing career, and it's a career that isn't winding down anytime soon. The Stremme legacy is well documented across the area as Lou and Cindy put their name on the map, and generations of stars have carried on their legacy from David to Bobby and later Nick, Dylan, and Hayden. Add in the racing wives that make up the family dynasty, and legacy becomes even stronger. Without the support, tradition would struggle to carry forward.
The former UMP Modified champion at Hartford moved back to asphalt racing fully in 2024 with fewer trips to the dirt side. At stops such as Kalamazoo, New Paris, Stremme was able to get out and compete with some of the best talent around--even his own sons Nick and Dylan. As more drivers look to travel around and take on the best around, Stremme found himself over at The Big O in 2025 where fans in Central Michigan quickly learned that business always picks up when there's a Stremme on the property.
Stremme earned his first victory at Owosso on May 17th, and he continued to have strong runs where it became easier to make the long drive as it was clear he'd have a shot at the points championship. On June 14th, Stremme returned to the front with a second place finish, and he picked up his second feature win on July 5th. His final Owosso victory came on August 20th with three other second place finishes around his final win.
The consistency Stremme performed with all season at Owosso led him to take second in the point standings, just 22 points outside of first. In a Street Stock class which featured drivers from around Central Michigan with many features on their resumes, Stremme made a lasting impact on the field and continued the strong legacy of the blue 53 once created by legend Lou Stremme.
