From the young age of 16 to now, Bryan VanZile has been a winner and has competed at the highest levels against top competition at Kalamazoo.

In 2001, at the age of 16, VanZile won the Factory Stock Billy Friel Memorial. In that same season, VanZile also earned Rookie of the Year honors. Then, after a successful 2005 season, VanZile won the 2005 Sport Stock Track Championship at Kalamazoo and in 2006 was the Rookie of the Year in the Limited Late Models.

Fast forward to 2024, VanZile made a few appearances at Kalamazoo in the Late Models and Limited Lates, but it was his ride in the Billy Shannon championship car at Super Shoe where VanZile once again parked in Victory Lane during the RWD B-Feature. The Shannon crew and fans celebrated the win which set the tone for 2025.

Donnie Brest welcomed VanZile to the team with Billy Shannon, who entered his last year in full-time competition, and Jared Blanchard, the young star in the Outlaw Limited Late Model class. VanZile picked up right where he left off in 2024 with the first win in 2025 at the 75th Season Opener on May 2nd in the Limited Late Models. Then, on May 9th, he won in the Late Models which was his first of three total in four races.

VanZile and former Springport Champion, Jerry Pierman, had one of the top battles of the season as they went side-by-side untouched for several minutes. VanZile finished the year with eight Top 5s with his lowest finish of the season being 14th and only one other time finished outside of the Top 5 when he took 11th on July 25th.

In his return to full-time racing in 2025, VanZile helped to send Donnie Brest out in style as VanZile finished fourth in points with fellow teammate Billy Shannon in second. Even with time away from the track, VanZile showed he still has a lot to give to the sport in a very successful career with many accomplishments on his resume.
