New Paris Speedway fans are quite familiar with the Kyle Kline Limited Late Model machine, and while Kline may not win every time he takes the track, fans are almost guaranteed to see Kline at or near the front.

While many other tracks in the area stayed committed to the Outlaw Super Late Models as a weekly class, New Paris brought on the Limited Late Models as one of their premier classes. Since its inception, Kline has been a consistent frontrunner. In 2022, out of 13 appearances, Kline locked in 13 Top 10s, 11 Top 5s, and one feature win on July 16th.

In 2023, his first track championship season, Kline appeared 11 times and finished with 11 Top 10s, 10 Top 5s, and six feature wins which included a three win streak from June 10th to July 8th. His lowest finish of the season was sixth at the New Paris Blowout.

To follow up his 2023 campaign, Kline went back-to-back in track championships with similar results in 2024. Kline appeared 13 times, had 13 Top 10s, 12 Top 5s, and four feature wins. Similar to 2023, his lowest finish was sixth also at Blowout Weekend.

No win may be as memorable as the 2025 season where Kline and Logan Delarye battled many times. On May 31st, as Kline and Delarye pushed through the final laps of the feature, Delarye attempted to pass underneath along the bottom of the track and caught the inside bump which caused both cars to spin towards the finish line. Although Brad Smith nearly had a chance to race past both cars as they spun, Kline's backend crossed the finish line as the stunned crowd looked on in silence before a roar took over.

While Kline's attempt at a three-peat fell short by 36 points, Kline continued to show that he's a top contender always in the hunt for a win. In 2025, Kline appeared in 11 features with 11 Top 10s and Top 5s plus his one victory in May. Kline also raced well in the Trifecta Championship Chase with a third place finish in the final point standings.

It's tough to get to the top of the mountain, but Kline has shown staying power in a growing division.
