Christina Rantz

In a racing stable with championship racers, Christina Rantz has carved out her own successful racing career and has proven to be a contender any time she's on the track.
As a part of the Elsey racing stable, she's watched her son, Matthew Elsey Jr., both from the stands and infields across the area win as well as been on the track when he's done so. While family success is one thing, her own personal success in the car matters too, and she's shown that time and again with many strong runs even though her outings are more limited than in the past. When she's on the track, she's giving it everything she has.
For a division that attracts 40-60 cars on any given race day, Rantz almost always finds herself in the A-Feature even when the National Compacts are in town. In fact, in her first visit to Slinger, Rantz qualified into the B-Feature, placed sixth, and advanced to the A-Feature where she followed up with an 11th place finish out of 25 cars. For a first time outing to one of the most historic short tracks around that just so happens to be the World's Fastest 1/4 Mile, Rantz nearly pulled off a Top 5 in the B and Top 10 in the A against drivers who race at Slinger every week.
At Kalamazoo, Rantz finished 4th in the 2025 Point Standings which is her career best finish in the Outlaw Front Wheel Drives. While she is still looking for her first win, it's her consistent performances on the track that stands out. For 2025, she locked in nine Top 10s out of 13 opportunities with a third place finish on July 25th, her best finish in an A-Feature at Kalamazoo since August 19th, 2022. In 2024, she nearly captured a win and finished second at the Super Shoe Nationals in the DOT Front Wheel Drive B-Feature.
Although she has limited outings in recent years, Rantz makes each appearance matter. She knows what it takes to be competitive, and she's not one to shy away from competition. Don't let her pink car and trailer fool anyone--she's the baddest woman on the track, and a role model for future female racers to follow.
