Hosner Racing certainly captured the attention of fans at tracks around the area. Always speedy and ready to go, Hosner Racing rarely denies the opportunity to take on competition wherever they can find it.
As a team member, Drew Hosner started his racing career seven seasons ago. The always friendly face to everyone around, Hosner jumped into the Zoo Stock class in 2019 where he raced for two seasons. He then took the next step into the faster Front Wheel Drives as he began his Outlaw Front Wheel Drive racing during the 2021 season. Although he has primarily raced at Kalamazoo, a track not too far from his house, Drew has raced all around the region and earned his first feature victory in the Outlaw body at Owosso in 2023. In 2024, as the season came to a close, Drew purchased a new hot rod as he looked to jump into the growing Limited Late Model scene that took over Southwest Michigan as the Outlaw Supers became more specialized and limited in appearances.
The 2025 season welcomed Hosner into the fold at Kalamazoo, and a host of Limited Late Models looked to unseat defending champion Bryce Bozell. Despite limited seat time in the Limited class, Hosner was one of the quicker cars on the track right out of the gate. Each race, Hosner improved. Once again, never afraid to take on competition, Hosner also raced at M-40 where he earned his first career win.
One of the top highlights from Hosner's 2025 season might also be the opportunity that he accepted when New England Spectator Drag racer Charlie Guardino issued an open challenge to any local talent in June during his visit to Michigan. Hosner accepted, and in front of a packed crowd at Kalamazoo, Hosner took on Guardino one-on-one in a Spectator Race and took home the victory.
Hosner's rookie year in the Limited Late Models is only the start, and a strong fourth place finish in a super competitive class with both young and veteran talent offers a glimpse in what he can do with more seat time and experience in one of the fastest classes around the area.
