Saige Hanna

Although Saige Hanna has raced in the Street Stock class for a few years now after one year in the Front Wheel Drives, she earned Rookie of the Year honors at New Paris Speedway and placed in the Top 5 in the final Street Stock Point Standings for the regular season.

For most of Hanna's career, she has raced in Northwest Indiana with her first start at South Bend in the Hornets where she earned many of her early stripes. Then, the next season saw her jump to Street Stocks with a wealth of veteran knowledge in her corner featuring her grandfather, The Grump Doug Hanna, and her father, The Toad Charlie Hanna. Although some nights were bumpy for the young racer, Hanna never quit.

That determination to push through each week carried over season after season, and that in itself can be a challenge especially as Hanna took on college life and other responsibilities. With a set of goals in front of her both personally and professionally, Hanna always appears geared up and ready to compete.

As she's grown in her Street Stock career, she's earned the respect of fellow racers. In fact, she's shown a competitive grit that if someone's trying to pass her, they're going to have to earn it. As one of the few female Street Stock racers around, she's had to show that she's not a pushover--after all, she's a Hanna, and there's no easy out when they're on the track.

For the 2025 season, Hanna returned to Michigan after she competed in one race at Springport in 2021. This time, she made her debut at Kalamazoo for her first ever Super Shoe weekend. With a change in format, class racing took over Super Shoe with Street Stock drivers from all around the region on the property. After a hard wreck in the Heat race, the team had the car patched up and ready to go for the feature where she finished 10th.

Hanna will have a new car for 2026 with a plan to move up to the Limited Late Models in the future. One thing she also has--bragging rights as she placed one spot ahead of her father in the final point standings at New Paris.
