The New Paris Speedway Night of Destruction scene has many dedicated competitors who call New Paris home, and through the several events the track hosts each season, those drivers have a chance to build incredible fan bases. Those fans then look forward to the creative designs their favorite driver comes up with next.

If there was a yearbook of drivers, Jacob Kelly's pictures would not disappoint. Each season, with every event, Kelly always has something new up his sleeve, and he always looks forward to showing it off.

Kelly, like many of the New Paris Night of Destruction racers, wants to see the track succeed and be around for generations to come. The Night of Destruction competitors carry the New Paris flag proudly, and Kelly goes the extra step as a weekly staff member where he does his part to contribute. Fans can see him in the pit gate with a flag as he guides drivers on and off the track, and he helps signal caution or red for drivers who may not see the traffic lights right away. He also helps to communicate with drivers as needed, checks their cars under caution if requested, and is a crucial piece to the race day operations. But, it's at the Night of Destruction where he can unleash his creativity.

One of his most unique designs over the last few years was his Airplane Car which stood out as one of the top designs for the event. Then, this past October, Kelly created a surgery space where he operated on a dummy filled with candy which he handed out during the Trunk or Treat event.

One thing is certain. Kelly will not sell his designs short, and his constant creativity and attention to detail shows there are no shortcuts taken. Kelly and his pit crew carefully construct the trailer displays, and his dedicated fans anxiously await to see his next design every event. The added bonus is Kelly knows how to compete. Even with his creative designs, Kelly isn't afraid to deliver the hits. This ain't no dog and pony show; it's The Night of Destruction, and he helps to deliver the chaos at The Arena of Destruction.
