When the Russell Family arrived at the M-40 Speedway in July 2023, they inherited a track which had frequent visits with the Grim Reaper. Several groups tried to come in to keep the thunder rolling in Jones, but it might as well have been Death Valley instead of Thunder Valley.

Yet, it was the Russell Family who showed that hope was not lost for the famed 3/8ths mile, and one of the front faces was none other than Meghan Neff. Meghan is no stranger to racing--like many, it's in her blood. Her love and passion for the sport, as well as her ability to connect with people from all types of backgrounds, makes her one of the crucial puzzle pieces to the track's success.

In their mission to Make Racing Great Again, Neff has been the wearer of many hats. From point of contact to all things Russells, Neff works tirelessly behind the scenes on scheduling, concessions, social media, event posts, sponsorships, and more. In fact, she might need to start stacking hats with all of the roles she takes on. Yet, despite balancing many things, her genuine care for people, the track, and the sport never dims. She is the light that shines bright with her high energy and push to keep racing alive and well.

What some may not know about Neff is that she has raced herself in Enduros. Although it had been more than a decade since she strapped into a seat, an opportunity presented itself at the Shttrr's Full Enduro in the Loo is Full Ladies Race. Not only did Neff jump in behind the wheel, she went on to win the race and had the chance to celebrate with her sister, who also raced, on the track in victory lane.

The Russell's M-40 Speedway has come a long way since the Russell Family arrived in July 2023, and the fan base has grown along with them in their adventure as owners of a track who can share many memories throughout the decades. Neff is right there helping to help write the story, and with her passion and energy to deliver classic, family-friendly entertainment, she's helped to make sure that it's a book no one wants to finish reading.
