Nick Stremme

For more than a decade, Nick Stremme has been in the racing scene, and his arrival has only continued the strong bloodline established several decades ago by the Stremme Family in short track racing.

Stremme has grown up around the sport of racing with his father, Bobby, grandparents Lou and Cindy Stremme, and former NASCAR driver David Stremme all in the legacy tree. Add in that his sister, Hayden, and brother, Dylan, have all been in a car at some point, the Stremme name is well known far and wide.

Nick has created his own mark on the Stremme name with championship success at New Paris, and he has raced just about anything with wheels which included the always sharp looking Template Sportsman Late Model; he also dipped his toes momentarily into Outlaw Late Model racing.

The Street Stock class is where Nick has had the most success in his career which says something for a driver who has had a great deal of success behind the wheel. The success has not always been guaranteed, and Stremme knows that his last name alone won't carry him to the checkered flag. In fact, where some legacy drivers may attempt to live on their last name to get them opportunities, Stremme is the opposite. He, and his team, puts in the work it takes to be competitive and improve with each outing. He also knows that not every outing will bring the outcome he desires, but that doesn't stop him from competing to be the best driver and car on the track on any given day.

At Kalamazoo, in one of his few trips to the fastest track around, Stremme had the goal to make the Raber's Rumble Feature. However, in an event which attracted current and former track champions from around the Midwest, which included Nick, he fell a spot short of the field. Although disappointed being so close yet so far, Nick and team regrouped and raced to a hard fought B-Feature win as Stremme held of Josh Trammell.

The Smooth Operator is always a threat to win when he's on the property as he carries on the Stremme legacy then, now, and forever.
